The photographs and illustrations on this site are licensed stock images, or our own photographs. Every image file carries the photographer’s name and the agency it came from inside the file itself.

Terms
These are standard royalty-free licences: worldwide and perpetual. They cover the use of the images on this website. They do not allow anyone else to re-use them — if you want to use one of these pictures, you would need your own licence from the relevant agency.
Are you an agency or a photographer?
We keep a record for every image: the photographer, the agency’s own image number, and the date it was downloaded. Write to us quoting the exact address of the image and we will send you the proof of licence for it.
